My girl Pookie made this wonnerful Birthday card for me, isn't she so sweet.

It's my birthday and I'll meow if I want, meow if I want to.
I'm having a pawty and you are all invited. We have catered a feast for efurrybody, check it out and dive in.


Now that I am finally a MANCAT, I can try the much talked about Niptinis.

Come on efurrybody, let's make my first birthday a day to remember! My Mum and WB have opened up the house and have said they will pay somebody to come clean the house when we are done tearing it up.

Tabby Toozday

This is my new favorite snoozin place. My peepul have figured out that I like to stay in the bedroom a lot, so they have started leaving the door open during the day so I can go sleep on the bed. I get to stretch out and really get comfortable.
Hanging out in the bedroom does have it's dangers, the other day somehow I got trapped in the closet. The WB was getting something out of the closet, he didn't see me go inside and he ended up closing the door while I was in there. He left and went back to work and then when he came home he was alarmed when I didn't greet him at the door. He searched and searched and then finally went to change out of his work uniform and when he opened the door I popped out. Boy was he ever happy to see me, he had no idea how he was going to explain the situation to my Mum since she is out of town this week. So I got to spend some alone time in the closet with the shoes, after realizing that I was stuck there I just took a nap and he was home before I knew it. It's a funny story now, but he sure was scared that I had escaped from the house when he couldn't find me.

Mancat food is here!

With only one week remaining in my kittenhood (my B-day is next Saturday the 28th) my Mum has finally gotten my Mancat food and is mixing it with the kitten food. Here is me enjoying my first taste test of the food. She tells me that there was much deliberation and reading of packages and ingredient lists prior to deciding on this food. She looked to make sure that I was eating food that absolutely did not contain anything but chicken in the first 2 or 3 ingredients, none of that food that says corn as the first thing. I appreciate her looking out for me and what I eat, cause if it was up to me I'd just eat any old thing that I find.

Happy Valentine's Day

This is my Valentine, her name is Pookie. She made me this luvly card. We met through Skeezix's Valentine's contest. She does not have her own blog (yet) but does have a Catster page that you can see if you click her name in the first sentance. I don't know her well yet, but I think we make a nice looking couple, both of us being very nice looking tabby cats and all. This is my card to Pookie.

Did you know that my 1st b-day is coming up soon? I will be a Mancat on the 28th of the month. Does anybody want to help me with birthday bash ideas? I've never done a party, but I've been to plenty and I definitely think I have to have a party, you hear that Mum? We need a party.
Mum- What about a party the weekend before your birthday, since I think I am going to out of town on your birthday day.
Me- You aren't going to be home for my birthday??? OMC!! That's awful. A party before you leave would make me feel better about that I guess.

Sunday stuff

This is where we put my fuzzy new blankie. Right on top of the couch where I love to hang out. I know I've mentioned this before. It is one of my favorite spots in the house. I have lots of blankies on my couch now.

I like this spot because I can keep an eye on this one...

My prezzints!

If you recall, I told you the other day that Cami, Tavi, Cody, and Miss Jade's mom Tara gave me some gifts when she and my Mum met on Tuesday. Well here it is...
First she gave me this totally fun bag to play in. It has crunchy sounding paper in it and I think it is way cool.
Mum - "actually that wasn't really a present, that is just what the presents came in."
Me - "you mean it wasn't a toy?"
Mum- "you can play with it all you like"
Me - "I think it was a prezzint, and you can't make me think other wise"
Mum - "I knew you would have more fun with the bag than what was actually inside anyway"
Me- "that's fer sure, I do like what came in the bag too though"
What was in the bag you ask?
Mom Tara made me this snuggly warm blue blankie. Just for me she made it. I am so honored. I would thank her with head boops and rubs and purrs if she came to see me.Tomorrow I will show you where I like to use my wonderful new blankie.

Wednesday evening lap nap

My Mum just got home from being gone since Monday, so tonight I am taking over her lap and not letting her move.
She said that she met and had dinner with a nice cat blogger Mom last night. She is the Mom of Camie, Tavi, Miss Jade and Cody at the Camie's Kitties blog. They met at a dinner having place called Coco's and my Mum had a giant cheezeburger that she had to eat with a fork and knife because it was too messy to hold. Mom Tara gave my Mum some nice birthday prezzints which my Mum really liked. It sounds like they had a great time, too bad none of us furry family members could have gone with them.
I gotta continue napping now, but tomorrow I will show what Cat Blogger Mom Tara made for me... I'd show you today, but I'm not allowing Mum to get up to get the memory card outta the camera.
