Outside movies

The going outside trend has continued!  I got to go out again today.  We took some little videos so you could enjoy it with me.

Mum thinks the little tail twiggle as I'm coming around the corner is funny.

Saturday adventures

This is a good camera angle Mum, it makes me look sleek.

It seems that the peepul have finally started loosening the restrictions on my being grounded from going out in the backyard!  Meaning, I've been allowed out to roam under supervision two times in recent weekends, but that's more than I've been allowed for many many months.  In this shot I was just coming out from under the barn.  I have a secret spot under there that only I know what goes on in.  I was allowed to be under there for about 10 minutes, then Mum came over and called for me.  I am obeying the peepul pretty well and going back towards the house when they ask me to right now, it's the least I can do to show appreciation for being allowed out. I do provide them entertainment when I'm out there, it gives them something to watch other than the TV or the iPAD and I talk back when they say things to me which they find funny.  I give a good amount of sass when I'm outside, I am talking back in this picture actually.  I hope this trend of me going out continues, think positive thoughts for me.

Last night's dinner

Yes that is a bowl of real live dead shrimp right there.  Mum knows how much I love shrimps and knew that I needed some.  So she cut some cat sized pieces up just for me.
I know, it wasn't nearly enough to feed a big fella like me, but she said they didn't get very much and I couldn't have all of it.
Thank you Mum!
A little is better than none at all, I know some kitties don't even have peepul who share with them, so I'm pretty lucky.

In addition to the shrimps, the peepul had shark.  SHARK! I think that sounds too scary to even think about eating. What if other sharks find out and the next time they go to the ocean the sharks find them??? Those sharks will try to eat my peepul and then I might not have anyone to feed me, all because they had to try shark meat for dinner.  I really don't know if that was a good idea folks.

A story and Sunday Selfie Blog Hop

This is a story about a wet cat.
One day the peepul of the house decided that the cat was dirty.  As we all know, cats do not make a habit of getting dirty but when we do, we wash ourselves, so this was a ridiculous idea. However, the peepul were not to be discouraged and they proceeded to pick up the cat and take him in the bathroom where a tub had already been drawn.  The cat attempted to scratch the female of the peepul who was holding him and leaning over the bath tub, however he was unable to get a good grip on her shoulder and was placed gently in water up to his armpits. The male of the peepul then held the cat in the warm, not so horrible feeling water while the female poured warm, not so horrible feeling water all over the pristine fur of the cat. The cat came to the conclusion that the water that was being poured on him really wasn't as awful as he had predicted it to be.  The female put some odd smelling goo on the cat and began rubbing it all over his fur while the male held him in place.  The worst part of all of this was that the male was holding the cat in place, not so much the warm water part.  The cat growled some, but in the end decided that he wasn't going to get out of the situation, and he didn't totally hate it like he thought he would.  Once he was all lathered up and smelled like fancy oatmeal soap, the female poured more water all over him to rinse the bubbles off.  The people kept talking in nice voices to the cat telling him how good of a boy he was, and the cat enjoyed that. Finally the torment ended and the cat was free to go.  The cat jumped out of the tub with great haste, but he was still trapped in the bathroom, because the peepul didn't want his wetness getting more wetness all over the carpets and furniture.  WHY get the cat wet then??? Of course he is going to get all over those things.  The female tried rubbing a towel on the cat, but the cat kept squirming out of the towel, but it did get some of the water off.  Eventually, the cat was allowed out of the bathroom and where did he go...straight on to the peepul bed of course!
The moral of this story for peepul, don't wash the cat unless you want wet furniture, carpets, beds, selves etc.
The moral of this story for cats, being bathed really isn't thaaat bad, warm water is soothing, but I still don't think it's necessary.

Additionally,  I just learned about the Sunday Selfie Blog Hop and wanted to play along.
I'm a cat, I don't sit still well, thus the slightly blurry pics.

"I'm about to do something" face

Alot of times I don't want the people to know what I'm up to, I can be a sneaky cat sometimes. Other times I have to think about it first.
This is my "I'm about to do something" face.  What Mum doesn't know is, am I going to jump up on her lap, or am I going for the chair arm.

It was the arm of the chair I decided upon this time.  The peepul don't realize how much planning goes into our every move.
