Chewy Is Awesome!

As you probably know, I am one of the fortunate critters who get to receive samples from Chewy.com in return for honest reviews. I love getting Chewy packages and the one I got a few weeks ago was extra big.  How EXCITING!  I had to wait for my Mum to come home to open it and watching it just sit there was agonizing.

This is what was inside, yes ALLLL of of this!  That's like a gazillion meals of hopefully delishus wet stinky glorious food.

The goods:   Nutro Perfect Portions in soft Turkey loaf recipe.
Let me tell you,  this is some good food!  It's called perfect portion because I get to have the whole portion, the little pack is separated into two serving sizes, so Mum breaks the pack in half and I get the little rectangle of food in my bowl, and I eat ALL of it.  What is really cool, is that when I get my stinky goodness, it isn't all cold like I would get when Mum put the other half of the Meow Mix cup in the fridge, it's always pantry temperature.
I think that Nutro makes quality pet food and this is no exception, it has good ingredients, here are the top 4 : Turkey, Turkey Broth, Chicken Liver, Pork Broth, it would only be better if it was fish flavor, and they do have many kinds, which I bet are all yummy.  Other flavors include, chicken, chicken with shrimp, and salmon with tuna (I would love that one).

As a bonus, which I doubt that Chewy.com bargained for, is that the box is perfectly cat sized.  Mum was nice and cut off the sides and kept the packing paper and look who fits just right in here.  It's ME of course.

As always, I would like to thank the wonderful people at Chewy.com for sending me this great sample.  They are accepting new bloggers for the review program if you are interested in participating.  Send Sydney a message at  svillegas@chewy.com  and tell 'em William sent ya!

Food review time

Check out what came to our house today. The man in the brown clothes and big brown truck (this is one of the few times that I like him, I'll tell you about that another day) met Mum outside as she was getting ready to leave the house and handed her this:

Notice who it is addressed to?  Me!  See who it came from? Chewy.com
I know what that means!  It means just what the sticker on the back says.  Dinner!  In today's case: LUNCH!  And I never get wet food for lunch, except on special occasion.

What deliciousness did they send me today? Its a tower of Hills Ideal Balance, Braised Salmon Recipe. I am a big fan of any and all wet stinky goodness foods, but just look at this:
The ingredient list starts off with these yummy bits: Chicken Broth (yup, I like that), Salmon (ooh, I really like that), Carrots, Green Peas (never had those by themselves), Turkey, Potatoes, Egg White, Chicken Fat and Spinach (all of those sound like they are good for me). That's a great sounding list of food. After those is a bunch of big words about vitamins and minerals that I don't think is necessary to list.   The main thing is, NO by-products or random yuckiness, just good wholesome ingredients with no grains.  I think this is going to be great!

After watching me get my lunch, do you think I enjoyed it?   You are correct!  I loved it!   I know, I know, I'm not one of those funny cats who make nom-nom noises when they eat, but I know how to get down and enjoy a dish of food.

If you like the stinky goodness foods, get your peepul to buy you some of the Hills Ideal Balance kind, you won't be sorry. There are other flavors like roast chicken and savory venison that I'm sure would be just as tasty as the salmon.

Also, if you want to try food for free, sign up with chewy.com, Andrew sends out emails every month with different opportunities to get samples for reviews. I could do these more often if Mum was better about letting me check my email and she saw the messages in time.
