Did you know that my 1st b-day is coming up soon? I will be a Mancat on the 28th of the month. Does anybody want to help me with birthday bash ideas? I've never done a party, but I've been to plenty and I definitely think I have to have a party, you hear that Mum? We need a party.
Mum- What about a party the weekend before your birthday, since I think I am going to out of town on your birthday day.
Me- You aren't going to be home for my birthday??? OMC!! That's awful. A party before you leave would make me feel better about that I guess.

Zoolatry does the best work don't they? And we are looking forward to whatever you have for your birthday. Chey will bring a ham... she always does... well hmm.. perhaps that's because she is a little ham.

A Mancat must definitely have a party for his 1st purrthday, Willie. This is what you have to do. Encourage your Mom to go out of town, but before she leaves take the plastic card from her purse. Once you're sure she's gone, order plenty of food, drinks & decorations. A DJ would be nice, too. Then post a notice on the cat blogosphere and invite a few hundred of your closest friends over to help you celebrate.
Just let us know what time, and we 4 will be there!
