A new food getting ploy

Today I thought of a genius plan to get Mum to give me some more food!  I decided to recroot my best friend Ping to help me with this plan.  I brought Ping into the kitchen and put him down in front of the food door. Seeings that Ping has never begged for food, like ever, Mum would have to feel sorry for him.
Seriously, how could one not believe this?

She came in the kitchen from wherever she was and saw Ping and I sitting at the food door, ever so polite and hungry looking.  I knew I had her.

Would you believe, It actually worked!  She gave Ping a Tem-Tay-Shun

I thought to myself "Yes!  She gives him a Tem-Tay-Shun, then she'll give me one too"  And she did. The only problem with this whole plan, there was a delishis treat sitting on the floor and he wouldn't eat it.  So, I dutifully took it off his paws and ate it for him.

Mum figured that he must not like the Tem-Tay-Shun so what did she do?  She let him sit in the food bucket! I don't get to sit in the food bucket...
This plan did not work in my favor much after all.  I did score a few Tem-Tay-Shuns out of the deal though.

It isn't very fair that Ping got to sit in the food bucket and you didn't. At least you got some good treats from it!

you have an excellent partner in Ping. perhaps he could also sit politely in front of the door when ever you need the insies and the outsies. that would be most useful.
